Female B2B Consultants hire me to perfect their brand message in 1-3 business days to attract their ideal audience so they can land 6-figure clients with ease!
It was a summer day in Brooklyn, and a thunderstorm was rolling through. As I sat in that room, the storm outside mirrored exactly how I felt inside. I didn’t want to be there. In fact, I wanted to be anywhere else—preferably where no one could see me. I had strategically dressed to disappear: sweatshirt, no makeup, leggings—the ultimate “please don’t notice me” outfit.
But life has a funny way of making sure you can’t hide when you need to be seen.
The whole purpose of being there was to open up about what was holding me back in both life and business. Instead, I was half-planning my escape route. What would be worse: sitting there in the vulnerability hot seat or running outside to tempt fate with a lightning strike?
And then there was KyAlea, sitting next to me, I didn’t know her and the one person I kind of knew (Rhiannon) wasn’t around and wished I could glue myself to for the rest of the trip. But hey at least KyAlea felt safe.
The truth was, I was terrified. I was so scared to let anyone really see me, worried that if they noticed me, they’d focus on the wrong things—on how I looked rather than who I was. And yet, despite my best efforts to stay invisible, all eyes were on me.
Fast forward a few months, and the women in that room—Rhiannon, KyAlea, and Jenee—are now three of my best friends. We’ve gone from strangers to a sisterhood, texting daily, cheering each other on, and sharing our victories and fears in a way that only true friends can.
They didn’t just see me that day—they helped me see myself. And for that, I am endlessly grateful.
From Discomfort to Connection
I’m sharing this story on Thanksgiving because it’s a reminder of what can happen when you step outside your comfort zone, even if it feels excruciating at the time.
As women consultants, it’s easy to feel like we have to do it all alone. After all, we’re often the ones people come to for answers, for guidance, for leadership. But what happens when we don’t have all the answers? When we’re the ones who need guidance and leadership?
In that Brooklyn room, I didn’t feel like a leader. I felt like a mess. But being vulnerable in that moment—letting down the walls I’d carefully constructed—led to something extraordinary.
Rhiannon, KyAlea, and Jenee didn’t let me play small. They didn’t let me hide. They helped me see that being fully seen is not a weakness but a strength.
Why Connection Matters in Business
Let me say this: if you’re building a business, especially one designed to attract high-value, Champagne Clientele, connection is non-negotiable.
The women who surround you—whether it’s a support network like mine or the clients you serve—are the key to building a business that’s not just successful but extraordinary.
And it’s not just about personal connection; it’s about how you show up. Are you putting yourself out there fully, with confidence and clarity? Are you building a brand that reflects who you truly are and the impact you want to make?
Because here’s the truth: extraordinary brands aren’t built on playing it safe. They’re built on bold moves, authentic relationships, and the courage to say, “This is who I am, and I know I’m damn good at what I do.”
Gratitude for the Growth
When I look back on 2024, I see numbers that make me proud:
I grew my business by 60%.
I grew my email list by 295%.
I lost 60 pounds, made a dance team, and reclaimed freedom in my life and work.
But those numbers don’t tell the full story. The real story is the growth that happened because I stopped trying to disappear. I embraced my full self, imperfections and all. And I had Rhiannon, KyAlea, and Jenee by my side every step of the way.
I couldn’t have done this without them. They reminded me of the power of showing up—not just for myself but for the people I’m meant to serve.
Shattering Ceilings, Together
If there’s one thing I want you to take away from this, it’s that building an extraordinary brand—and an extraordinary life—isn’t something you have to do alone.
We’re women who shatter glass ceilings. We build businesses that don’t just make money but make a difference. And we don’t do it by staying small or trying to go it alone.
This Thanksgiving, I’m grateful for the women who remind me of that every day. For Jenee’s unwavering support, Rhiannon’s fierce encouragement, and KyAlea’s brilliant perspective.
And I’m grateful for what’s ahead: the chance to keep building something extraordinary—not just for myself but for every woman who’s ready to step into her power and create uncommon wealth.
Here’s to us. Here’s to the friendships that change everything. And here’s to a future where we all rise, together.
